Maar van Iraks mvw was bekend dat zij van een zeer lage kwaliteit waren. Ook was bekend dat Irak na 1991 geen mvw meer produceerde. - gedetailleerde beschrijving van de interactie tussen de Office of Special Plans en het bona fide deel van het inlichtingenapparaat, zoals de Defense Intelligence Agency;
- een aantal individuen die een sleutelrol speelden worden genoemd
- verwijdering van experts die niet de gewenste evaluaties leverden en vervanging door neo-conservatieve aanhangers
- het aanpassen van inlichtingen materiaal gebruikt om Congres en de media voor te lichten, door verwijdering van bronnen, tegengestelde meningen uit briefing papers
- voortzetting van de deceptie na de oolrog, door de schuld van de valse inlichtingen bij de inlichtingendiensten zelf te leggen.

Wat er precies in Nederland gebeurde in de aanloop naar de oorlog zou ook nauwgezet beschreven moeten worden en gepubliceerd.
Dat past in het debat over normen en waarden in Nederland (dit is belangrijker dan bouwfraude). Aangezien de regering bljft zwijgen hierover, kunnen we alleen hopen dat een 'whistleblower' vergelijkbaar met Karen Kwiatkowski, (of Katherine Gunn in Engeland) het publiek hierover verteld. Dit is van belang met het oog op de geloofwaardigheid van toekomstige oorlogen die gevoerd worden op grond van proliferatie van
massavernietigswapens - een zaak die steeds meer zal spelen en actueel blijft.
